By the time you read this I’ll be in London (the English one, not the Canadian one). I'm a little fuzzy on time differences, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing, but I'll mostly likely have a cup of tea (or a cider!) in my hand either way.
I'm fairly certain I left part of my soul in London, the first time I visited it three years ago with my family. I'm what you would call an Anglophile (Britophile, to be exact). I love all things British, especially Harry Potter and tea, and, luckily, those are two things that will figure heavily in my current vacation.
Here are four things I'm excited about:
I cannot tell you how excited I am to be going on this tour. I saw the Harry Potter exhibit at the Ontario Science Centre a few years ago, but that was nothing compared to the amount of work that goes into the studio tour, including dressing up the sets for Christmas.
They have something called the "Mad Hatter Tea Party". I don't think I need to tell you why that appeals to me.
One of my fondest memories is going to London with my sister in December 2012, especially our first day, which was spent strolling though Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland before going shopping. Just thinking about the park gives me the feels.
SO MANY COOL STORES. Also, the Shakespeare's Head pub is the first place we tried Magners, and our lives have never been the same since.
