I could sit here and tell you all about how amazing BBC's Sherlock is. I could tell you that the bromance between Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock and Martin Freeman's John Watson is glorious. I could tell you how much I love Andrew Scott's Moriarty and we could discuss how that's probably not healthy (he may be evil, but honey, have you seen him in a crown?). I could talk about the intricate plots and the long waiting time in between seasons and how their holiday special this year, The Abominable Bride, was magnificent. But since every other media outlet in the world has probably talked about those things to death, I'm going to tell you about one of my very favourite parts of being in the Sherlock fandom: the gifs!!
If I had a nickle for every time I Google "Sherlock gifs", I could pay the actors to hurry up and produce the next season this year. I have a friend who I constantly send gifs to, even if it has nothing to do with our conversation, so I'm pretty well versed in what gifs are out there. Thus I present you with some of my faves, including suggestions for when/how to use them.
*Note: I can't take credit for any of these gifs, I found them by extensively trolling through Google Images.
When you're too excited for words
When someone completely infuriates you
When you're feeling especially anti-social
Any time anything even remotely shocking happens
When you're agreeing with something that you may or may not actually agree with
When you're asking for a favour
When you're emotional about something (for example: a book, a movie, a really good TV show...)
And my personal favourite, which can be used for just about any occasion
I could keep going, but you get the picture! Are there any gifs you particularly enjoy using (if you're the type of person who enjoys using gifs)?
